Janice Retterath

Director, HR and Administration

Janice joined The PEER Group Inc. in 1999 as a Human Resources Coordinator. In 2003, her role was expanded to Human Resource Manager. Janice is energized by the opportunity to form a corporate group whose collective intelligence, compassion and responsibility provide PEER Group with the versatility to deliver world-class products and services. In 2014, Janice became the Director, HR and Administration.

Janice is responsible for all aspects of Human Resources as well as managing the Administration team and facilities. She understands the key talents that make people successful at PEER Group and then hires and develops individuals who demonstrate those capabilities. Janice works closely with her team to create a cool physical space with a warm heart; an environment where employees feel supported, valued for their contributions, and understand how to succeed.

Prior to joining PEER Group, Janice worked at MKS Inc. from 1994 to 1999 as a Recruitment and Education Specialist, where she was responsible for implementing and organizing training, education and international recruitment for technical resources. From 1992 to 1994, she taught public school at the primary level.

Janice holds a Diploma in Human Resources and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Guelph, as well as a Bachelor of Education from the University of Toronto.
