PEER Group Names Mike Kropp as President and CEO

KITCHENER, Ontario - February 2, 2010

The PEER Group Inc. announced today that Mike Kropp has been named president and chief executive officer. Along with Mr. Robert Harris, Mr. Kropp co-founded PEER Group in 1992. He initially held the position of vice president of Engineering, establishing PEER Group's strong reputation as a provider of high-quality manufacturing software solutions. In 2003, Mr. Kropp was promoted to chief operating officer, taking over responsibility for all of the company's operations except Sales and Marketing. Mr. Kropp has been the acting president and CEO of the company since 2007 when Mr. Harris took a leave of absence for health-related issues.

For the past ten years, Mr. Kropp has been the driving force behind PEER Group's strategy of focusing the company on the high-technology equipment automation market. Key to this strategy is the ability to provide complete solutions that include both products and services. Most recently, Mr. Kropp led the successful acquisition of the Asyst software products and the subsequent integration of these products into the PEER Group development, delivery, support, sales, and marketing processes.
