The PEER Group Inc., a global leader in factory automation software for the semiconductor, solar, and other high-technology industries, announced today that it has selected Mizuho Information & Research Institute, Inc. as its exclusive distribution partner in Japan. Mizuho, headquartered in Tokyo, is a leading supplier of factory automation software solutions to the Japanese semiconductor market, serving IC manufacturers and equipment suppliers.
Mizuho had been the exclusive distributor of Asyst’s products prior to their acquisition by PEER Group. Mizuho will now provide all of PEER Group’s automation software products including the testing products CCS Envoy™ and PEER Factory Acceptance Tester (PFAT™), as well as the industry-leading tool automation software application, PEER Tool Orchestrator (PTO™).

Effective immediately, Mizuho will have full responsibility for all sales, service, and support relationships with PEER Group’s customers in Japan.
