This release of SECSIM Pro®+ is an upgrade release with a focus on expanding operating system support to include Microsoft® Windows® 7 (32-bit and 64-bit), product enhancements based on customer requests, and many bug fixes. A new C# sample has been added as well as a new Compile Error log window to simplify script debugging.
SECSIM Pro+ now supports Windows® 7 (32-bit and 64-bit) in addition to Windows Vista® and Windows® XP. SECSIM Pro+ is no longer tested on Microsoft Windows 2000.
We have reduced troubleshooting effort during script compilation by presenting compile errors in a separate window that lets you quickly isolate current scripting errors.
A new BackupLog script function automatically backs up the default runtime log file and creates a new, empty log file. This allows the log file to be controllable at runtime from within a script, providing a method for capturing portions of the runtime log for a specific testing instance.
We have added a C# sample project that demonstrates interprocess communication methods that allow any application to communicate with SECSIM Pro+. This sample project targets .NET Framework 2.0, x86 environments.
We have resolved several customer-logged issues and requests for SECSIM Pro+, including expanding SSL function documentation and making usability improvements.
