SDRPlus

Efficiently move data using SECS

SDRPlus is a high-performance 64-bit SECS driver for implementing SECS-I and SECS-II communications on equipment or factory control systems running Windows or Linux.

Enable Big Data with our 64-bit SECS driver

SDRPlus™ is the easiest and most reliable way to implement the SEMI® equipment communication standard (SECS) messaging into semiconductor equipment or factory control system. The easy-to-use set of samples demonstrates the best way to integrate the SDRPlus SECS driver into C/C++ or C# equipment and factory control systems, getting you quickly started with production-ready code.

SDRPlus leverages the gRPC communication protocol and latest .NET software technologies to enable superior data throughput. Customizable key performance indicator (KPI) logging provides valuable insight into how tools are operating in the field by collecting metrics that can be leveraged using advanced analytics to identify usage patterns and trends to improve overall tool efficiency, throughput, and optimization.

SDRPlus vs. SDR

SDRPlus performs significantly better than SDR for complex data transfers, making it the ideal SECS driver for Big Data and data-intensive solutions that will enable more quality assurance analysis.

As processing and throughput requirements become more complex, the amount of data moving through the SECS channel between equipment and factory host systems grows.

  • Do you need to move larger volumes or more complex data (e.g., analysis data, large recipes files, or wafer maps) using SECS?
  • Does your connectivity solution need additional memory that a native 64-bit architecture enables, or does it need to be compatible with other 64-bit applications?

Maintain your solution easily

SDRPlus complies with latest releases of SEMI E4 (SECS-I), SEMI E5 (SECS-II) and SEMI E37 (HSMS). Additional logging and analytics tools in SDRPlus make it easy to maintain and troubleshoot your connectivity solution.

Migrate from SDR to SDRPlus easily

Current SDR users who need a high-performance SECS driver can migrate easily to SDRPlus with minimal effort. We provide a backwards-compatible C/C++ SDR API and the SDRPlus Migration Guide will walk you through the process.
