PEER Group continues to simplify complex automation

Kitchener, Ontario – January 29, 2015

New tool development can be costly and challenging for OEMs. PEER Group has developed software products that enable you to focus on your tool’s processes instead of on tool automation and hardware control. By utilizing our products as part of your new tool development, your deployment challenges will be minimized, time to market accelerated, and long-term maintenance costs reduced.

Leverage the simplicity of our complete automation software solution

One of the things we do is ensure that our PTO™ product—the world’s most popular tool automation software platform—provides built-in support to enable ease of use. It includes a graphical configuration manager and pre-configured charting. PTO also includes a library of industry-standard plug-and-play automation drivers for all major hardware components provided by the industry’s hardware vendors. For example, PTO provides an off-the-shelf automation software solution for OEMs using Brooks Automation’s vacuum and atmospheric wafer transport systems. As a result of our off-the-shelf drivers and other built-in support, PTO greatly reduces your effort to provide complete tool automation.
