PEER Group reports increased revenue in 2012 and is positioned for continued growth in 2013.

“Fueling our growth globally has been the success of our factory and equipment automation and testing software products, as well as our development services for device manufacturers and equipment suppliers. Even with the market slowdown, our 24 design wins reflect the high value our customers see in our product offerings,” says Mike Kropp, president and CEO of PEER Group.

“Our continual investment in market-driven product development has resulted in our industry-leading product portfolio that provides customers with advancements in factory automation capabilities and technology reducing their overall automation development effort, cost and time to market,” continues Kropp. The creation of an integrated product stack, in which PEER Group products are designed to leverage other product capabilities, gives customers the ability to easily scale their solution, whether it is to adapt to different factory environments (GEM, GEM300, and EDA / Interface A), tool automation or factory automation, without the worry of adverse product integration deficiencies. Regardless of whether customers use one or many PEER Group products, PEER Group’s product stack manages the complexities of equipment automation and gives customers the integration, technology and deployment capabilities and flexibility they need.

In 2012, PEER Group established a dedicated OEM sales and engineering team in its European headquarters in Dresden to support growth in its OEM business. PEER Group’s collaborative integration and implementation services team continues to achieve success, expanding its footprint in automation on and off the tool as well as into related production applications within the manufacturing ecosystem. PEER Group’s services expertise, both on tool and in the factory, accelerates delivery timelines and optimizes services and product team innovation. “With our innovative products, strategic services, collaborative customer relationships and conservative financial management we successfully adapt with market fluctuations and give our customers the long-term stability and partnership they need,” says Kropp.

2012 marked PEER Group’s 20th year in business. “We want to thank all of our valued customers and partners for their continued business over the past two decades,” says Kropp. “We look forward to continuing to work with our customers and exploring new challenges as manufacturing technologies evolve.”
