PEER Group celebrates 20 years since opening European headquarters
Kitchener, Ontario – August 3, 2023
This year marks the 20th anniversary of the opening of PEER Group’s European headquarters in Dresden Germany. When PEER Group Co-Founders, Mike Kropp and Bob Harris, were looking to expand into new markets, Dresden was the obvious location for the company’s European headquarters.
“Having a permanent presence in Silicon Saxony has benefited PEER Group by providing direct access to not only all the premier fabs and equipment suppliers that call Dresden home, but to the impressive technical talent that resides here as well,” shares Kropp, who currently serves as the company’s President and CEO. “I wish to congratulate the entire Dresden team for achieving this amazing milestone.”
Under the leadership of Managing Director, Michael Arnold, the Dresden office has grown from 12 employees to 50. The team supplies regional factories with innovative automation software and services.
To mark the occasion, members of PEER Group’s leadership team, employees from the Dresden office, and friends and customers gathered for an evening of celebration. An album of moments captured during that event can be viewed below:
