PEER Group®, the largest supplier of innovative factory automation software products for the semiconductor industry, is proud to announce that Savanah Wille, a Senior Quality Assurance Specialist working at the company’s North American headquarters, has been recognized by the SEMICON West 20 Under 30 awards program.

The SEMICON West 20 Under 30 program recognizes 20 “rising young stars” from SEMI member companies who demonstrate a strong record of innovation, collaboration, community engagement, and outstanding performance. Winners are nominated by their peers and selected by a panel of judges from the SEMI North America Advisory Board (NAAB).

“I am honoured to be a recipient of this award,” says Wille, who graduated with distinction from the University of Waterloo’s Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.), Nanotechnology Engineering, Co-Operative Program and has been working at PEER Group for nearly five years. “From studying semiconductor fabrication tools in school to testing automation software used in fabrication facilities, it’s so rewarding to work in a field that I am passionate about. I am incredibly grateful to work at an innovative company with incredible people, in an industry that plays such a vital role in our lives.”

Wille’s contributions to PEER Group have long been recognized by her managers, peers, and clients. “Savanah demonstrates technical leadership in her field and distributes her knowledge to both clients and coworkers,” says Pooya Forghani, PEER Group’s Software Development Manager, Engineering Services. “Savanah is an inspiration to those who aspire to have successful careers in technology.”

Wille will be traveling to San Francisco for SEMICON West 2023 where she’ll accept the award alongside the 19 other recipients.
