Successfully defending the industry against cyberattack is of concern to all industry participants, and only by working together can anyone be made safe. This will require fundamental changes to how equipment and APC solutions are delivered and supported within the factory environment. Achieving these changes without creating unreasonable cost and time burdens inside the supply chain is not an easy task.
In this co-authored presentation with Applied Materials, Doug presents on SEMI’s response to this challenge by forming the SEMI Manufacturing Cybersecurity Consortium (SMCC). The SMCC is a new global technical community comprised of Factories, Fabless, equipment manufacturers, software vendors, and other members of the supply chain.
