Service engagement models

Turnkey

In turnkey engagements, you can choose from the following services and we will manage the entire software lifecycle:

  • Advanced station controllers – We ensure successful equipment integration and station controller development as well as integration with material handling systems for traceability, and other factory process control systems for maximum yield and throughput.
  • Custom Manufacturing Execution System (MES) – We provide a complete, SEMI Standards compliant solution based on our PEER FACTORY® framework of components or extensions to your existing MES for performance monitoring, maintenance management, or Advanced Process Control (APC).
  • Automation Capabilities Management (ACM) – We provide expert guidance to manufacturers to overcome standards-related automation issues or to reduce a factory’s start-up costs by accurately documenting automation requirements.
  • On-site acceptance testing and integration – We provide equipment troubleshooting and predictable implementation services to ensure quick and easy acceptance into the automated manufacturing environment.
  • Source Inspection – We conduct automation source inspections using pre-determined test criteria.
Co-development

Some factories leverage our automation software infrastructure but write parts of the software themselves. Use one of our products for easy configuration and our engineers will fill in the gaps where we have more experience. In a co-development engagement, we can provide:

  • Factory automation, UI, and general design work – Let your engineering team to focus on your unique IP and core competencies while we take care of the rest.
  • Customized training – Receive product training that is focused on your unique factory.
  • Testing plan – We develop a testing strategy to effectively test the factory solutions against new automation specifications or full host automation.

SDK

Use PFSC™ as the backbone for your factory automation and station controller development while doing the customization and configuration in-house. In an SDK engagement model, you can choose from:

  • Jumpstart product training – We provide all you need to know, along with best practices, to get started with independent configuration.
  • Ongoing consulting services – Access our expertise when you need it during your factory automation development to ensure you can automate your factory rapidly, leverage our products’ deep feature sets, and maintain your independence.
  • On-site consulting – Our team travels to your factory and provide in-depth design and code review, sample code, Q&A, and hands-on assistance.
Staff augmentation
