Multiple GCD File Support

As organizations continue to grow and tools become more complex, segregating the responsibility of various components within the equipment delivers a more agile development model. This release of GWGEMPlus makes it easier to organize your tool information by partitioning the tool configuration into multiple GCD files, allowing for independent maintenance of specific areas of your equipment.

Technology support

Our products continue to adopt new computing technologies, enabling our customers to take advantage of the latest versions of computing platforms. GWGEMPlus now supports Windows 11.

GWGEMPlus now supports:

  • Windows 11 Enterprise 23H2
  • Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 2021 (64-bit only)
  • Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC 2021
  • Windows Server 2022 LTSC 21H2

GWGEMPlus no longer supports:

  • Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC 2016 and 2019 (1809) (64-bit)
  • Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 2019 (1809) (64-bit)
  • Windows Server 2019 Standard
  • Windows Server 2016 Standard
  • Windows Server 2012 R2
  • Windows Server 2012 Standard

What’s new in this release

Introduction

GWGEMPlus is a high-performance, multi-platform software product you can use in your Equipment Control Software (ECS) to implement SEMI® E30 (GEM) compliant equipment-to-host communications. With native 64-bit support, GWGEMPlus is designed for high-throughput applications.

Version Compatibility

GWGEMPlus has been developed to provide an easy migration path for existing GWGEM® customers, while providing significant performance improvements. Many of the legacy GWGEM APIs are still supported in GWGEMPlus, with minimal changes.
