Our products continue to adopt new computing technologies, enabling our customers to take advantage of the latest versions of computing platforms. SDRPlus now supports Windows 11.

SDRPlus now supports:

  • Windows 11 Enterprise 23H2
  • Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 2021 (64-bit only)
  • Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC 2021
  • Windows Server 2022 LTSC 21H2

SDRPlus no longer supports:

  • Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC 2016 and 2019 (1809) (64-bit)

What’s new in this release

E4 SEMI Equipment Communications Standard 1 Message Transfer (SECS-I)

To enable technology updates to legacy equipment solutions and to further our commitment to backwards compatibility, SDRPlus™ now supports the older SECS-I or E4 standard, which defines a serial point-to-point data communications protocol intended for use in connecting factory equipment.

Our products continue to adopt new computing technologies, enabling our customers to take advantage of the latest versions of computing platforms. SDRPlus now supports .NET 6.0 and Visual Studio 2022.

SDRPlus no longer supports .NET Core 3.1.

What’s new in this release

C# Interface and Samples

Continuing with our commitment to cross-platform support, SDRPlus™ now provides a new C# API and SECS message logging mechanism. With this version of SDRPlus you can leverage the versatility of C# to implement SECS-II communications on your equipment or factory control system. Multiple code samples are included to expedite getting your application running.

Technology Support

Our products continue to adopt new computing technologies, enabling our customers to take advantage of the latest versions of computing platforms. SDRPlus now supports the Microsoft® Windows® IoT Enterprise 2019 LTSC and RedHat® Enterprise Linux® 7 operating systems.

SDRPlus no longer supports Microsoft® Windows® 10 Enterprise LTSC 2015 operating system.

What’s new in this release

Introduction

SDRPlus is a new, high-performance, multi-platform SECS driver that provides general communications support and library functions for data communication applications that send and receive messages using SEMI E5 SECS-II messaging. With native 64-bit support, SDRPlus is designed for high-throughput applications. Compared against SDR, it provides up to 200X times faster transfer rates when transferring complex data types.
